Week 2014.37 (September 14-20) ~ Another week without an asteroid

Good news! This week a continent-ripping magnitude 9.0 earthquake in the western United States did not occur. Nor did a powerful tsunami-generating earthquake occur in the Atlantic or Pacific Oceans. Nor were there any “city-killing” asteroid impacts. Each of these events is inevitable; this week we got off easy.
